home: noun [hom] one’s place of residence, a familiar or usual setting, a place of origin, where the heart is found
How do you define Home? It’s a simple word, yet it provokes much emotion. It’s certainly more than walls and a roof. Maybe it’s best defined as the way you feel when you walk in the door; the joyful anticipation of an eager puppy wagging his tail in delight at your arrival. Maybe it’s the feeling you get when you put your head on the pillow, or when you gaze at your sleeping child. Perhaps it’s found in the memory of launching your child to school, whether kindergarten or college. It’s a place filled with cheerful hellos and tearful goodbyes, incredible joy and profound heartache. Whatever it means to you, I believe we tend to know home when we see it, or better, we know it when we feel it. As we approach Thanksgiving, my wish for all of us on this special American holiday is that we feel at home, wherever we may find ourselves. As I reflect on this past year once again I’m filled with gratitude for the support you’ve shown me and my business and family. Thank you and cheers to a Happy Thanksgiving holiday!
I’ll see you around town!
